My Favorite Quotes from The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

I read the Alchemist again last month and loved it even more. I thought you may like some good quotes I found in it. Enjoy!

"Intuition really is a sudden immersion of the soul into the universal current of life, where the histories of all people are connected, and we are able to know everything, because it's all written there." (p. 77)

"We are afraid of losing what we have, whether it's our life or our possessions and property. But this fear evaporates when we understand that our life stories and the history of the world were written by the same hand." (p. 80)

"Life attracts life." (p. 123)

"Love never keeps a man from pursuing his destiny. If he abandons that pursuit, it's because it wasn't true love...the love that speaks the language of the world." (p. 126)

"The Wise men understood that this natural world is only an image and a copy of paradise. The existence of this world is only a guarantee that there exists a world that is perfect. God created the world so that, through its visible objects, men could understand his spiritual teachings and the marvels of his wisdom." (p. 133)

"Every search begins with beginner's luck. And every search ends with the victor being severely tested." (p. 139)

"If a person is living out his destiny, he knows everything he needs to know. There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure." (p. 149)

I hope you enjoy these quotes. Of course, all rights go to Paulo Coelho, the author.

An Introduction to Alternative-Logic.com

Hello Everyone,

I assume this is your first time here as this is my first blog post.

I have created this blog to add what I think and contemplate to our global community. I believe there are many valid and fallacious points made every day - with hundreds of people advocating each. I've been told I hold a truly unique point of view on life, and whether I do or not, I just thought I would write anyway.

Besides, typing is much faster then writing in a notebook.

I do a lot of things in my busy life, but my favorite is learning and educating myself whenever I obtain the chance. Also, I do Internet marketing and online gaming while going to college.

I try to stay impartial while I learn, then objectively assess what I am dissecting, and then take a point of view. I hope you enjoy the topics, theories, politicians, and so forth which I will be writing about in the future.

I'm sure it will take a while before anyone will not think I am an inadequately educated 18 year old who is dumb to challenge common thought, but before I finish this post, I will leave with you my favorite quote:

"New opinions are always suspected, and usually opposed, without any other reason but because they are not common"
-John Locke

This is my blogs mission statement per se. Please feel free to comment on what I write, disagree with what I think, and detest my logic. However, please interact on my blog in a constructive and respectful manner.

Thanks for reading, and come back soon.
