I read the Alchemist again last month and loved it even more. I thought you may like some good quotes I found in it. Enjoy!
"Intuition really is a sudden immersion of the soul into the universal current of life, where the histories of all people are connected, and we are able to know everything, because it's all written there." (p. 77)
"We are afraid of losing what we have, whether it's our life or our possessions and property. But this fear evaporates when we understand that our life stories and the history of the world were written by the same hand." (p. 80)
"Life attracts life." (p. 123)
"Love never keeps a man from pursuing his destiny. If he abandons that pursuit, it's because it wasn't true love...the love that speaks the language of the world." (p. 126)
"The Wise men understood that this natural world is only an image and a copy of paradise. The existence of this world is only a guarantee that there exists a world that is perfect. God created the world so that, through its visible objects, men could understand his spiritual teachings and the marvels of his wisdom." (p. 133)
"Every search begins with beginner's luck. And every search ends with the victor being severely tested." (p. 139)
"If a person is living out his destiny, he knows everything he needs to know. There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure." (p. 149)
I hope you enjoy these quotes. Of course, all rights go to Paulo Coelho, the author.
